Moto G 3rd gen support
thingiverse
My wife teaches music to kids with autism and Down syndrome, and she's always capturing videos on her trusty 3rd gen Moto G cellphone. When they use music stands, I came up with a clever solution: a support that attaches directly to the stand itself. This way, she no longer needs a bulky tripod. To make it easy to print, I divided the parts into two halves, eliminating the need for supports and simplifying the printing process. The cellphone fits snugly in place, but be careful not to snap it over the side buttons when removing it - just slide it gently to one side. I printed this design using ABS plastic and assembled it with superglue or acetone, supplemented by some M4 screws (or hand screws like I used) and hex nuts.
