Motley v3 510 collar
thingiverse
After putting a Motley v3 510 on my mod, I realized I didn't like the stock collar. So I measured it out and made my own one that fits perfectly. This is the result of scaling up 1.05 times larger than the original to account for some PLA shrinkage. Feel free to remix! "Fire Girl Collar" was designed specifically for box mods that have at least 50mm of length from the center of the 510 with vents in an "X" pattern. Any mod shorter than 50mm will cause it to overhang. It can be printed well using a nozzle as small as 0.5mm with FDM printers. "Fire Girl Collar Small" was designed for box mods that have at least 40mm of length from the center of the 510 with vents in an "X" pattern. Any mod shorter than 40mm will cause it to overhang. A nozzle size of 0.4mm would work best for this print with FDM printers. "Iron Cross Collar" was inspired by a friend of mine who is a U.S. Marine with a great love of German tanks. It fits in the same area as "Fire Girl Collar Small" and should print well using a nozzle as big as 0.5mm. Updated on September 21, 2017 to fix a mesh error. Updated again on September 26, 2017 to add Iron Cross collar. If you like this design and want to support my work, throw me some cryptocurrency!
