Motherboard standoff adapter (mounting post)

Designed for a standard motherboard standoff to press firmly into place, providing proper threads for installing the motherboard screws easily. This allows users to attach their motherboard to any surface that can be screwed into - wood, plastic, or any other material - without needing to cut traditional standoffs. Don't forget that most PC cases are made of metal, grounding the chassis to the motherboard through the standard standoffs. If you use this adapter on a non-conductive surface, consider adding something for a good connection to the chassis ground. I left the bottom of the post hole open for easier alignment with the mounting surface and to line up the standoff adapter if pre-marking the hole placement is done beforehand. Recommended hardware per post includes: 1x standard motherboard standoff (6-32 m3 I believe) 2x #6 screws (choose a length that suits your needs) Note: Depending on the printer used and the standoffs available, it may be necessary to slightly modify the size of the hole before printing.
