Rafts are a type of base that helps your model adhere to the build plate and prevents warping during the printing process. When it comes to supports, do you really need them for your project? Supports are used to hold up overhanging parts of a design that might otherwise collapse under their own weight. However, if your design is well-structured and doesn't have any overhangs, you can get by without them. Lastly, let's talk about resolution. Resolution refers to the level of detail in your print. A higher resolution means more details will be printed, but it also takes longer to complete the job. If speed isn't an issue for you, go ahead and set that resolution high! But if time is of the essence, a lower resolution might be just what you need. In this case, the default setting is 0.2 mm, which is perfect for most everyday prints.
