Mostly printed knife sharpener

thingiverse

This is a knife sharpener with fixed angles for precise sharpness achieved every time. Just three magnets, sandpaper and an 8 mm steel rod are needed on top of that, as the rest can be easily printed out. The sandpaper template comes in a PDF format, directly derived from a vector file, so it can be laser cut with ease. No adhesive is required to attach the sandpaper to the sanding block. Neodymium magnets, measuring 20x10x4 and rated N42, are used for this purpose, complete with a mounting hole. The presence of a mounting hole is optional, as these strong magnets can also be glued in place if desired.
