Mostly Printed HyperCube Evolution Xperimental 500³

First and foremost thank you JohanRC, Lucifer Angel, PavelNS and PropsFactory for posting the original design. I'm currently trying to 3D print the entire design, minus a few necessary supports. To save money on buying extrusions and bearings, I'm opting for my CAB (Cheap Ass Bastard) version. I'm using Lucifer Angel's 4040 extrusion and scaling it up to 203 mm for the extrusions. Since my small delta has a max of 300 mm, I calculated that 203 mm is what I need for most of the lengths required. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2916495 Edit: I've added the 4x205mm plate. Cura estimates it will take ~419g and 2d 04h 44min to print at 35 mm/s. Fun times! And yes, I have the system on an APC 1000 for if the power goes out. I'm using PavelNS's T slot nut for the 40x40. I've added a plate of 28 pieces with .2mm height and 100% infill. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2822395 I'm using the Motedis 90 deg. bracket and converted it from stp to stl with freecad. .2mm height with 50% infill, might go up to 100% but I'll try it at 50% for now. For the bearings, I'll keep going in my CAB fashion and try the 3D printed LM12UU linear bearing from PropsFactory. I've tested it on a smaller rod (8mm), and I'll let you know how it goes. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24990 I'm using HILMAN Plat STl - Round 5/16" x 3ft. from Lowes for the rod. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-3-ft-x-0-3125-in-Plated-Steel-Metal-Round/3057625 | Rev | Date | Description | |-----|--------|----------------------------------| | - | 9/7/18 | Original Post | | A | 9/9/18 | Added T-Nuts and 90 Deg.
