Mostly Printed CNC Z-Carriage Mod for Full router
thingiverse
Updated v6 is now Final and Complete! The Part number is no longer valid as all files have been finalized, and I am unable to make any edits. This is a Two-Part Mount specifically designed for the 300w Sunwin Spindle (Available on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CLNSMC2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Please note that my printer consistently produces results slightly larger in outer diameters and smaller in inner diameters, which allows the mounting brackets to fit perfectly onto the spindle. I have also uploaded STEP files for your convenience (Exported from .ipt, Autodesk Inventor), and feel free to provide feedback or suggestions for any necessary modifications. Instructions: To mount this system, you will require the same nuts and bolts as in the original mountings. Please be sure to drill the mount holes carefully to ensure proper centering of the router. Any slight discrepancies can result in a poorly seated router. A 2-inch handle has been incorporated into the nut trap to facilitate easier installation; simply remove the handle when mounting is complete.
