Newer Version Using Belts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2387735 Mostly Printed 3D Printer Optimized for ABS Printing is Here. The XY Mechanism is a Game Changer - I Came Up with It and It's Completely New. It Combines Ideas from the Ultimaker Gantry and Richard Horne's Sli3dr Printer, But I Believe it's Better and Simpler than Either. 3D Printer Features: Features Genuine E3D V6 Hotend and Graphic Controller at an Unbeatable Price Point of $350. Modular Construction Means You Can Adjust the Size by Adding or Removing Modules. More Area Inside the Printer is Usable for Printing Compared to Many Other Designs. All Motors are Outside of the Build Area, Allowing for a Heated Chamber. Integrated Cable Management Gives the Printer a Clean Look. Nearly All Parts Are 3D Printed and Easy to Enclose for ABS Printing. Innovative XY Mechanism Offers Excellent Accuracy at a Low Cost. The XY Mechanism Can Use Belts or Filament and Round or Linear Rails (This Version Uses Filament and Round Rails). You Can Choose Between Bowden or Direct Extruder (This Version Uses Bowden). Avoiding Over-Constrained X and Y Axes Makes Build Tolerances Easier to Manage. It's Up to You to Decide the Orientation of Parts for Printing - Check Out the Parts List, Included Jpegs, and Pictures Zip File for Helpful Assembly Hints. No Assembly Instructions Are Currently Available, So I Suggest You Only Attempt This Printer if You're Handy. Let Me Know If You Find Any Errors.
