Mostly-parametric frame for Settlers of Catan
thingiverse
This project is still under development and may not be complete or visually appealing as I continue to work on it. Please note that updates will be made available as changes are implemented. Interlocking hexagonal frames with customizable sizes are a key feature of this project. These frames have insets for roads and settlements, allowing you to scale them according to your specific needs. You can also experiment with different shapes or create your own unique designs for the interlocks. The coastline is another essential element, featuring interlocks that connect seamlessly to the hexes while leaving space between each segment. Inset ports and player pieces are included in this design as well. To make printing easier, two sizes of coastline segments are provided: one standard size for 3- or 4-player games and a larger "seaway" model suitable for bigger print beds. The port() module is a simple trapezoidal base that fits perfectly into the inset, while the "port.scad" model builds upon this design to create actual ports. Feel free to customize these images as you see fit, using slightly tweaked versions of the die faces from the Catan dice game as inspiration.
