Documentation in Progress... Assembling the Device ------------------------ The instructions for assembling the device are provided below. 1. Assemble the device according to the manufacturer's guidelines. 2. Connect all necessary components and cables securely. 3. Make sure that all screws and fasteners are tightened properly. Printing Issues ---------------- Many objects are not in print orientation, which can lead to printing issues. Solution: * Check if the object is aligned correctly with the printer bed. * Adjust the object's position as needed to ensure proper alignment. * Make sure that the print support is included on all objects. What Works and What Doesn't ----------------------------- The following components are known to work or not work with this device: **Components That Work:** * GRBL board (except for microstepping) * ESC control * PWM program **Components That Don't Work:** * Microstepping on V4 GRBL board (tied to ground) * ESC overheating when powering RPI Configuring Arduino, GRBL, and RPI ------------------------------------- To configure Arduino, GRBL, and RPI, follow these steps: 1. Download the PWM program from GitHub. 2. Install the Adafruit Library for OLED displays. 3. Enable i2c on your RPi. 4. Clone the Adafruit repository using git clone. 5. Run the Adafruit Examples to test the display. Software and Workflow ---------------------- The following software tools are used in this workflow: 1. Fritzing: Create circuits and export to SVG files. 2. Inkscape: Get PCB trace outlines (check out example file). 3. BlenderCAM: Create G-Code from Inkscape SVG files. 4. Universal G-Code Sender: Send G-Code from RPi to Arduino. Dependencies ------------ The following dependencies are required for the software tools: * Fritzing * Inkscape * Adafruit Library * PWM program * GRBL board * ESC control Possible Issues and Solutions ------------------------------- The following issues may arise during the workflow, along with their solutions: 1. **Fritzing:** * Error: "No compatible device found." * Solution: Check if your device is supported by Fritzing. 2. **Inkscape:** * Error: "Failed to load SVG file." * Solution: Check if the SVG file is correctly exported from Fritzing. 3. **BlenderCAM:** * Error: "Invalid G-Code generated." * Solution: Review the G-Code and remove any unnecessary commands. Note: This documentation is a work in progress, and more information may be added later.
