Mossberg Shockwave Forend

Mossberg Shockwave Forend

thingiverse

Designed for the Mossberg Shockwave, this replacement forend was made to attempt a wood-like design much like on the Mossberg Nightstick. But you can do whatever you want with it. Includes 3 versions. One no-frills, one with a hand stop, and another with a picatinny rail on the side for a flashlight. It will ONLY fit the Shockwave. The Mossberg 590 or 500 have forends that have different dimensions and will not work with this design. Printing: Print as it comes, standing straight up. Use supports everywhere so the corncobbing prints ok. Printed prototype is pla+ but I would recommend a more heat-resistant material if you plan to use it at the range, as the heat from repeated use could effect the print. I found good results with 40-60% infill, obviously the more, the stronger it'll be. My most successful print took 21 hours at .2mm layer height.
