Moss Pole for Plants

Moss Pole for Plants

Half circle moss pole to support plants, primarily their aerial roots.Pole consists of two parts: base and body. Base is intended to go in to soil and body goes on top of that. Body is then filled with moss. Plant sprouts and grows aerial roots in to moss and is happy :) There are two modifications: standalone and stackable.Standalone has flat surfaces for the base and body. These can be used as single pieces or glued together or connected in some other way (e.g. drill/slice holes and zipties).Stackable come with triangle connection areas. The clearance is 0.1mm gap. On my printer they fit together snug. The triangles could need some minor filing based on your printer accuracy, but that can be easily done with a triangle shaped file. The parts are meant to be printed vertically, but horizontal printing should work too with tree supports.I printed mine with PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, supports for buildplate only for bottom section.Didn't try scaling the parts. Please keep in mind the triangle connection area tolerances if doing this.
