Moss Pole Auto-Watering with wick

This may be one of my most useful and simple auto-wicking / watering designs for my huge af moss pole. I didn't know how to keep it damp as it is 5ft tall and kinda high up near the top so I made these things so I can just fill & forget! The wick goes into the disc on one end, and the other goes down through the center, against the pole into the moss to wet the moss below the disc. I have tested it with the wick going up but it is less effective. You can scale these to be any size you need, but mine is meant for a close fit to a 35-40mm moss pole, made out of mesh so it is a bit flexible. I suggest putting this on beforeee you mount/wrap your plant around it.
