Mosquitto hotend adapters for CR-10 (all stock parts !)
thingiverse
Soooo I ordered a mosquitto hotend, thinking naively I could just slap it on my CR-10 and be off with it... What a surprise lol. Since I didn't want to change (and de-solder) the fans or modify the carriage, I created 4 pieces to adapt the stock fans to it. hotend.stl goes around the 2 posts where your normal hotend is screwed into. then ventil.stl goes through the mosquitto and onto that piece on the left and on the right post on the right. You can then screw the original fan on ventil.stl. Next you'll want to screw ventil2.stl where the whole metal case was, you can adjust (just a little bit like 1 or 2mm) the height. You can then screw the part fan on the lower holes. The spacer.stl goes around the throat of the mosquitto, you should pass a cable tie inside, going around the throat, and on the other end you can secure your thermistor cable so it doesn't move around. Finally you can put the fan3.stl onto the part-fan, or use another one from thingiverse. Hope this help someone else !
