Mosquito trap - tripod
thingiverse
This a remix of the Solar mosquito Trap by MosquitoLAMI.In fact it is a remix of the files you can find on the (French) LAMI website, which are more up-to-date that the files published on Thingiverse.https://www.anti-moustiques-intelligent.comThe 3D printed parts of the main mechanism are more or less clones of the original parts except that they can be printed without supports (I hate supports). The 3D printed parts of the structure are very different from the originals as I wanted the trap to be a tripod.I believe it is more stable, has a smaller footprint and requires less wood.I designed, printed and produced the non-solar version. It cost me around 60€ in parts (wood, fan, screws, CO2 bag, mosquito mesh, etc.)The wood panels where cut with a laser machine at a fab-lab.The trap can be converted to dual energy (AC and solar) by just adding the solar components : panel, control device and battery (the total estimated price is 100€).Because of the small footprint of the trap, the solar controller will have to be on the top cover in a waterproof box, along with the solar panel.I prefer it to be like that in order to supervise the solar system without having to open the trap. The battery will fit inside the trap.
