Mosquito Trap

Introducing a "Mosquito Trap" Design: Utilizing the fact that a ball has the smallest surface-to-volume ratio compared to other shapes, my design employs this principle to create an effective mosquito trap. The model comprises three components, with an optional inserted disc. The lower spherical shell holds water up to a certain level, while the upper shell closes the system via a bayonet lock. Radial slots in the upper shell serve as entry points for mosquitos. An optional perforated disc may be placed over the water. The trap's dimensions are suitable for a 3D printer with a bed size of 10" x 10" x 10". The model is provided in STEP, STL formats and native PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 files within a zipped folder.
