Mosquito Net Repair Device
thingiverse
This device helps quickly mend mosquito nets, crucial for preventing Malaria. Mosquito nets shield sleepers from biting insects, but holes compromise their effectiveness. Traditional sewing can be labor-intensive and ineffective. The 1.2mm x 1.2mm mesh blocks mosquitos, while smaller sizes may hinder airflow in hot climates. Experimentation is needed to find the minimum achievable mesh size. The device's snap locking mechanism also has potential for attaching clips, weights, or decorations to nets. To use the fixer, place a spare mesh piece over the hole and work the pegs through both layers via the backing holes; snap them into place. If no spare mesh is available, print the "NetPatchCircle" and follow the same procedure without the extra mesh. Adjust peg length, distance, or diameter for varying mesh types.
