Warning! DO NOT PRINT IN PLA. Recommend printing in ABS with soluble supports. Who Is This For? This is intended for those with an i3 style printer that uses 2020 extrusion, the belt goes around the extrusion but most have upgraded to using a linear rail instead of wheels. What You Need? A linear rail (MGN12H) mounted on 2020 extrusion. The Mosquito Hotend by Slice Engineering. 5015 blower fan. BMG-M by Bondtech. NEMA 17 Motor, pancake preferred to reduce weight. BL Touch is optional. (4) M3x12 screws are needed. (2) M3x6 or M3x8 screws are required. (1) M4x16 screw is necessary. The Build? This mounts to the linear rail using (4) 3mmx12 screws. The belt attaches at the middle of the 2020 extrusion. Zip ties are used on the belt. On the left side, the BMG-M with hotend and its fan are attached. The fan can be on either side, and the heat block can be in either direction as well, using hardware that comes with the Mosquito Hotend. On the right side is the motor. A pancake motor is used, but a regular one fits as well. They connect using the hardware that comes with the BMG-M. Under the motor is the mounting for a 5015 blower fan, requiring (1) 4mm screw. A zip tie could be used instead. Optional: On the back side under the rail are holes for mounting a BL Touch, needing (2) 3mm screws. The offset of the BL touch is 20.5X and 33.65Y. The Z should be 0, but it depends on the under-surface quality where it mounts. The offset reference is on the print. Holes are sized so no nuts or washers are needed.
