UPDATE VERSION 1.2 IMPROVED CONTROLS FOR HOTEND FAN AIRFLOW RESULT IN REDUCED LEAKAGE TOWARDS THE PRINT SURFACE. ISSUE OF AIRFLOW FROM PRINT FAN HITTING HOT BLOCK ADDRESSED. Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend mount for Prusa Mini and a modified fan shroud that accompanies it. The X-Carriage is a remix of the original Prusa Mini model. This design mounts the Mosquito Hotend to the Prusa Mini using the mounting screws included with the Mosquito. Additional hardware requirements are two M3 nuts and a piece of 11.5mm PTFE tubing. The Prusa PTFE brass fitting will be close to the heads of two fixing screws on the Mosquito. First, insert these screws but do not fully tighten them before screwing in the brass fitting. Gradually tighten the two fixing screws followed by gradually tightening the brass fitting. Once installed, the nozzle sits 1mm lower and 1.5mm further forward (Y-Axis) compared to the original. This setup adds approximately 12 grams of weight to the X carriage. Note that you will need Boron Nitride paste to properly seat the heater cartridge and thermistor on the heat block.
