NOTE:This is an update version 1.2
-Better control of Hotend fan airflow to reduce airflow leak towards the print surface.
-Address the issue of airflow from the print fan hitting the hot block.
-The X-Carriage is optional

Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend mount for Prusa Mini and an accompanied modified fan shroud. The X-Carriage is a remix of Prusa Mini Original.

I create this to mount the Mosquito Hotend to the Prusa Mini using the mounting screws included with the Mosquito. The only additional hardwares are two M3 nuts and a piece of PTFE 11.5mm in length.

The Prusa PTFE brass fitting will be very close to the head of two fixing screws of the Mosquito. You will need to first put in the two fixing screws but not fully then screw in the brass fitting. Gradually tighten the two fixing screws follow by gradually tightening the brass fitting.

You may want to file down the lower screw on the x-carriage by about 0.5mm This will prevent the tip of the screw touching side of the Mosquito.

Once installed, the nozzle will sit 1mm lower and 1.5mm further to the front (Y-Axis) comparing to the original.

This setup will be around 12grams heavier on the X carriage.

Please note that you will need Boron Nitride paste to properly seat the heater cartridge and thermistor to the heat block.

Print instructions

PETG

no need for support

3 Parameters (Vertical shell)

20% Grid Infill
