Mosquito hot end mount for Tenlog/Hictop printers
thingiverse
I had a couple lying around and wanted to get away from the teflon feed as it kept melting even when just printing PLA. I think the heat sink had poor contact with the filament tube and it was overheating at the bottom of the teflon tube. Also, wanted to print some higher temp stuff (with CF, open printer). Either way, this worked nicely to mount a mosquito, built in fan keeps the filament cool. Requires a 4mm OD, +/- 2mm ID teflon tube for the feed to the top of the mosquito (doesn't go near hot end). I designed this to mount the mosquito with M3 18mm screws, which requires drilling out the mosquito mount corners from the M2.5 threaded holes they are currently. The current version can also be mounted through the top 2.5mm holes with no drilling or tapping, but it is tougher as they interfere with mount screws required for the printer. Not sure if it needed it, but I also added a fan concentrator onto the cooling fan for the hot end. Easy to install and can't hurt.
