Mosfet & mainboard support frame for Anet A8
thingiverse
UPDATE: I uploaded a revised version of the mosfet board mount that's smaller and more efficient. The key component is the bridge between the mainboard and the mosfet. To secure it, simply place four white washers on the upper side of the mainboard and the lower side of the mosfet. This approach reduces print time and plastic waste. I created a custom frame for my Anet A8's mosfet board because I found the original design (1857006) to be excessive in both print time and plastic usage. The design itself would be completely hidden by the actual boards, making it unnecessary. My revised design saves approximately 50% of printing time and plastic. I designed this mount from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and Blender, but I did reference Sjouke's file for accurate measurements. To assemble the mosfet board: consult https://3dprint.wiki/reprap/electronics/heatbed_mosfet Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Notes: I used 100% infill, 0.2mm layer height, and printed with a brim. According to Cura, this should weigh around 13-14 grams, require less than 5 meters of filament, and take approximately 1h10m to complete.
