Mosfet Box
thingiverse
I decided to create a new one from scratch, rather than using an existing design. I attached ears to the 20 mm extrusion behind the Z-axis stepper on my TronXY X3A, which provides a solid base for the enclosure. To eliminate the hassle of threading wires through holes in enclosures, I designed the top and bottom to separate at the access wire slot. This enclosure is perfect for one of the widely available 60 x 50 mm (54 x 43 mm hole spacing) mosfet modules. All sides and top are well-ventilated, and there are mounting holes for a 40 mm fan. The bosses accept M3 self-tapping screws: (4) M3x8 for the mosfet module (4) M3x12 for the fan (4) M3x30 for the lid Update #1: I updated the Box Bottom STL to fix the inch/metric issue with Fusion export.
