
Mosfet Box for 2020 / 2040 Aluminum Profiles

This is a compact enclosure designed to house four IRF520 MOSFET drivers. You can easily source these boards from Aliexpress. The enclosure measures 164x86x27 cm and features two holes with diameters of 23cm and 6cm for inserting a power jack and a lever switch respectively. Two M3 screws are used to secure each MOSFET board in place. The enclosure also boasts a sliding lid equipped with a self-locking mechanism, as well as a large hole on one side that allows cables to pass through. Additionally, there is a sliding piece for accommodating 2020/2040 aluminum profiles on the same side. I mounted this enclosure on my Ender 3 printer to control LED lights using a Raspberry Pi. The hole on the side proved useful for routing cables towards the Pi and LEDs. While it may seem excessive for just four MOSFETs, the design provides ample space for cable management.
