Mosasaurus

As always, I will promote and REWARD the first people to post quality makes - a successful, complete, hopefully decent-looking print at 50% scale or larger. This doesn't necessarily need painted but extra bonus if it is. If this proves popular, I will work on some other Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Creatures as well as accessories and variants of this model if requested. I could possibly do things like a fully-body version, battle wounds, dino-rider armor, a wall-mountable bust, or a water base. So please post your makes, hit like, and provide feedback in the comments on what you would like to see. Mosasaurus was among the last of its kind, the largest known species. Its legs and feet were modified into flippers, with the front flippers larger than the hind ones. The largest known species reached lengths up to 17 meters (56 feet), slightly longer than its relatives Tylosaurus and Hainosaurus. Mosasaurus was more robust than related mosasaurs. The skull was more robust than in other mosasaurs, and the lower jaws attached very tightly to the skull. They had deep, barrel-shaped bodies, fairly large eyes, poor binocular vision, and poorly developed olfactory bulbs. Experts believe that Mosasaurus lived near the ocean surface, preying on fish, turtles, ammonites, smaller mosasaurs, birds, pterosaurs, and plesiosaurs. Although they could dive, they evidently did not venture into deeper waters. It existed during the Maastrichtian age of the late Cretaceous period, between about 70 and 66 million years ago, in western Europe and North America. The name means "Meuse lizard", as the first specimen was found near the Meuse River.
