Mosaic Z endstop support.

Mosaic Z endstop support.

thingiverse

After owning a MakerGear Mosaic for about two months, I encountered one minor problem with the Z-endstop guide rod, which could rotate freely and displace the endstop switch due to printer vibrations. A simple modification is available for the original Z-endstop that comes with the Mosaic to fix this issue. This can either be printed as a support that attaches between the switch and existing endstop or as an entire endstop (untested by me). I recommend installing the support, which requires minimal disassembly. To do so: 1) Print 'mosaic-z-enstop-mod-support.stl'; 2) Remove and unscrew the switch assembly from the endstop; 3) Unsolder wires from the switch, rewire it through the support's slot (refer to picture), and place it on the support; 4) Screw the switch and support back onto the endstop. If you prefer a single-piece modified endstop, print 'mosaic-z-enstop-mod-endstop.stl', but be prepared for some disassembly and use of support material. Don't forget to download the OpenSCAD file that generates both STL files, as well as the original Z-endstop file from MakerGear (https://github.com/MakerGear/Mosaic).
