Mosaic Palette Swivel Scroll Wheel Mount

This is a rotating base for the Scroll Wheel. It houses a captured bearing inside that enables the Scroll Wheel to pivot freely around its axis. This design is particularly beneficial for printers with a long Z axis, as it minimizes the bend in the PTFE tubing. In addition to printer components, you'll need one standard inline skate bearing: * One 8 x 22 x 7 (608ZZ) bearing Assembly -------- The three printed parts are the axle, the shell, and the base. To assemble them, insert the axle into the bearing, then press the bearing into the recess in the back of the shell until it's flush. Next, insert the axle into the base and secure it with a dab of CA glue to keep it in place. Conduct a dry run without adhesive to ensure smooth spinning motion. Finally, apply a piece of hook material supplied with the Palette to the top of the shell and attach your Scroll Wheel. You can mount the base to your printer using two M3 cap screws. I attached this rotating base to an 10mm x 10mm auxiliary tower on my large UltiBots D300VS delta printer.
