A mount for the Mosaic Palette 2 on the Ultibots D300VS delta printer is designed to work seamlessly with any delta that features a slotted extrusion at its exterior corner. This innovative setup frees up valuable desk space by allowing the filament to feed directly from the floor. STL files are available for both left and right side mounting options, providing users with flexibility and convenience. To assemble the mount, simply use three M4 countersunk screws to secure the provided Mosaic mounting plate in place. The mount then attaches to the printer itself using a sturdy three-screw setup. An exciting update has been added: STL files for a hinge are now available, enabling users to swing the palette out of the way when needed. This feature is particularly useful for those working on an enclosure for the D300, as the palette often obstructs the door. The hinge utilizes M5 heatset inserts for maximum durability. For printing, SnoLabs PC+ filament was used due to its exceptional strength and ease of use (no enclosure required). However, this type of filament is robust enough to accommodate a wide range of printing materials. To achieve optimal results, print the mount with the largest side laid flat on the bed. This ensures maximum structural integrity and stability. The F360 file is included for users who wish to customize or modify the design to suit their specific needs.
