The clip supplied with the Palette seemed difficult to install. I then designed this adapter for a permanent attachment. When using the printer without the palette, I simply use a section of Bowden tube to guide the filament through the adapter. I reused the tube collet from the Palette-supplied clip, but you can easily find them online, or print them. The adapter is secured to the filament runout detector housing with a couple of through screws and nuts.
