Mosaic Palette 2S Ender 3 V2 tube anchor
thingiverse
I have a Mosaic Palette 2S and an Ender 3 V2 printer. The printer is inside a Creality enclosure with limited space while the Palette is mounted on the outside. There simply is no room for the Palette inside the enclosure. For the Palette to calibrate properly, it must be anchored via a clip to the printer and I couldn't find an anchor that worked for my arrangement, so I had to go outside the box and find a way to make one. After printing and testing several other ideas, this is where I ended up and it works for me quite well. With a touch of remixing from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3428924 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4569213 and adding some touches in Freecad, I was able to come up with something that is dependable and removable which is what I wanted. It may not be the prettiest but I care more about function over fashion. This requires supports at any angle so you must be careful when separating them especially from the guide arms at the grommet end. I was a bit heavy handed and broke the arms on my test print, but simply glued them back on and haven't had any problems. The start of this endeavor was a bit of a headache for me because of the Creality enclosure with limited space, so I'm sure I'm not the only one whose had this challenge. Hopefully this will serve someone else as it has me.
