Mosaic Palette 2 Teflon tube clip for Raise 3D N series (v2)
thingiverse
This is a more reliable and secure method for attaching the Teflon feed tube from the Pallet 2 and 2 Pro multi-filament system to the inlet of the (v2) head of the Raise 3D N series printers. The round piece features a conical hole that matches the bevel of the Teflon tube end, which fits through the rubber grommet included with the Pallet 2. Simply insert the grommet into the top hole in the main body and ensure it's evenly placed from both sides, then stick the nylon tube into the grommet and finally insert the doughnut part into the bottom opening with the larger opening facing towards the tube. This piece stabilizes the tube and prevents it from bending excessively when the print head is moved far away from the pallet. When this happens, the filament must make a sharper bend into the inlet of the print head, but this method supports the tip of the Teflon tube to lean less. No gluing is required as once installed on the V2 Raise3D head, the doughnut will be securely held in place. I printed this device in PLA at .200 layer height and 100% infill for added durability, but you may be able to achieve the same results with lower infill levels. The design also features a second nozzle feed hole, which prepares it for future dual nozzle (and dual Palette) configurations for 8-color printing. Only one doughnut is needed to secure one Teflon tube initially, but this device can accommodate two Teflon tubes, grommets, and doughnuts. This mount replaces the original filament inlet bracket that comes with the N series printers and uses the same screws in the back.
