Mosaic Cake Model

Happy 8th birthday to Mosaic! We designed this sweet model to be customizable - our favorite happens to be chocolate cake, accompanied by a swiss roll and a bar of chocolate. Our previous color scheme was used for the plate and sprinkles, however, users can customize this cake to your liking! 1) This model comes with a cake dome and stand that can be customized using Canvas’s paint tool. To paint these parts, the STL file in the ‘Objects’ viewer must be selected, followed by the paintbrush icon in the bottom left corner. Parts can also be stamped; however, the file would need to be sliced with KISSlicer. Please print the cake, stand and dome separately to ensure a smooth print and prevent a crowded and heavy build plate. (Note: If the stand is printed, it is recommended that the larger side is placed on the bed.) 2) It is recommended that the model is printed at a size of at least 125% to allow for all the details to appear. If users decide to print the lid and stand to accompany the cake, please ensure that all three models are scaled to the same size. 3) For minimized bleeding of darker colours (such as dark brown, green, and purple) into lighter colours, it is recommended that users set the variable transition lengths to strong and increase the “maximum transition length” (Project Settings>Transition>Variable Transition Lengths). 4) Print Difficulty: 4/5
