The Northern Gannet, scientifically known as Morus bassanus (Linnaeus, 1758), is a majestic seabird. A Mascarell's gull, Alcatraz atlántico is its alternative name in some regions. The specimen number MZB 2002-0823 identifies the individual. This bird's pelvis is remarkably well-preserved, measuring 122.0 mm in depth and 49.4 mm in width. It is an adult gannet. It was found on October 24th, 2002, in El Perelló, a municipality located in the Baix Ebre comarca of Tarragona province, Spain.
