Morton Castle, Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway dating back to around 1200-1300 AD. A significant section of the remaining architecture and a sturdy wooden door (located on the interior) can be seen at Morton hall-house ruin. The door is heavily adorned with graffiti, while the stonework displays two intact first-floor windows and several structural features.
