Mortising bit (8 mm) holder / attachement
prusaprinters

This is a universal mortising bit holder. It is not attached to the drill machine, but can be held by hand or clamped to the drill/stand.
I used two 626 bearings (19 mm wide, 6 mm hole) and inserted them during printing (two times to set the printer to pause). I think these two bearings keep more stable the bit.
The clamp uses M3 screw (16 mm) and M3 nut (the nut fits very tight and I helped inserting it with soldering iron).
Of note, I have not yet tested drilling a mortise, but looking forward.

I used brim to help the tube stay in place on the bed, but you may try without any rafts.
Pause the printer in gcode twice to insert 626 bearing.

Post-printing:

Clean the print,
insert M3 nut and screw,
fit the clamp around the tube,
add additional 626 bearings on the top (one or more if needed, depending on length of the drill bit)
and finally add a small washer
