---===Mold shapes for mortar strength testing===---Disclaimernot intended to be used for certified testing. These files and methods are to provide general estimates of strength for educational purposes only.-50mm cube for compressive strength-58mm diameter x 29mm height cylinder for the split tensile test. Molds have 3mm thick walls and bottom. Print 100% fill for the base and walls. Using several walls (for example 8 walls with a 0.4 mm nozzle) will form strong prints. Clips are to be printed with 2 walls and no top or bottom layers to provide some flexibility. Small binder clips will work as well.Material: I used PETG but most any filament should work for a few castings. If long-term use is intended leave a note in the comments and I can upload a 5mm thick wall "Heavy Duty" version and if possible use polypropylene as it should be more resistant to alkaline materials.Mortar experiment ideas provided in lesson plan.
