The UMAREX HDS 68 defensive rifle uses a Co2 sparclette and can fire 2 .68 calibre rubber bullets (or Paintball) with an impressive 16 Joules of power! I've created a new projectile for this rifle: The complete set to be printed consists of 4 parts : a body a cork a simple primer holder a primer holder on a spike After printing a complete set, make your choice: for a flat head, glue the primer holder to the cap with Loctite, centering it well with a piece of PLA filament or a 2 mm drill bit. for a pointed head, glue the pointed head to the cap with Loctite, centering the whole with your fingers. Preparation: fill the body to the brim with black powder (~0.72 g) Screw the cap on the body (for later use, store vertically so that the powder does not escape). ONLY RIGHT BEFORE FIRING, place the primer (primer for black powder replicas, Colt army 1851 style, Colt navy 1860, Remington 1858 ...) if the primer does not fit sufficiently on the primer holder, pinch the sides of the primer with your fingers or pliers to slightly ovalize it. With the flat head, the weight with an infill of 15% at printing is 3.42 g, with an infill of 100% it is 5.09 g. With the pointed head, the weight with a 15% infill at print is 4.15 g, with a 100% infill it is 6.57 g. IMPORTANT NOTES : in France, the purchase of black powder is regulated: it is necessary to be of age and to have a hunting permit or a shooting license. FIRING WILL ONLY BE EFFECTIVE ON A HARD TARGET (a wall, a plank, etc) and perpendicular to the projectile, a shot on a soft surface will have no explosive effect! the use of this ammunition is much more dangerous to injure than the original rubber ball! in France, in case of injury of a possible aggressor, you risk criminal prosecution!
