I plan on making many more logos just like this one. If you have any suggestions, please let me know and I'll make it. This is an extruded LED Mortal Kombat Logo that I printed on my dual extruder. I took a JPEG of the Mortal Kombat Logo and traced it in Solidworks. Then, I extruded and filleted the logo and saved it as its own STL for use in dual extrusion. Next, I designed a plate around the logo, added holes for screws, and saved that as its own STL. Lastly, I designed a shell to go around the plate and logo, with aligned screw holes so it can be fastened to the plate. I printed the shell using regular black PLA on my Rep 2. For the dual extrusion, I used the same black PLA for the plate and Bendlay (see link below) for the Mortal Kombat Logo. I chose Bendlay because it is extremely translucent, with 91% of light passing through. I then hooked up an RGB LED strip to the inner shell and connected it to an IR receiver so it can be controlled with a remote.
