Morse Taper (MT2) Plug
thingiverse
When using a small lathe, chips frequently fly into the Morse taper of the tailstock, causing a poor fit of tools. Leaving something like a drill chuck is out of the question, as it takes up too much space. A small dead center may be short, but it's also somewhat hazardous. To resolve this issue, I created a small plug with a fraction of an MT2 taper. With my print, it fits securely in place and won't fall out, yet it's still easy to remove. Settings aren't crucial for this project; use whatever configuration works best for your needs. 73
