This simple bracket enables mounting a drill chuck or live center to the backsplash I'm crafting for my lathe. UPDATE: Slightly revised from version 1.0. It turns out that the Fusion360 draft tool, which I used to create the tapered hole, was expecting a different kind of angle than the specification I had for the morse taper angle, so this is now a much more consistent fit. I also added files with a hole for a chuck key, as you can see in the cover photo. The cover photo shows my 18N Jacob's Chuck with a no. 4 chuck key. The MT2 design is intended for a no. 3 chuck key.
