Kids can make a Morse keyer for CW using copper wire, no spring or screw needed. They just need two pieces of wire: one 1.4mm in diameter (1.5mm2) for the electrical contact and another smaller piece as the pivot. No support is required during printing. The best print resolution is 0.2mm but 0.3mm will work well too. Version V4 is a good version to start with, while Version V5 is even smaller and prints faster using a 0.4mm nozzle diameter. Version V8 might be the easiest one for young people to build.
