Morse Code Straight Key

I built a morse key that has holes for threading 22 gauge wire through, I used 22 gauge magnet wire for this project which works like a charm. Also, I utilized a rubber band for the spring action. Be sure to print the key with supports. I secured it to my desk using hot glue; you may be able to use tape or bubble sided tape instead. I incorporated a .05mm offset KEYER so there's less travel for the keyer, which allows for faster CW transmission. Instructions 1.) Print out all of the parts. 2.) Attach the Key to the base. 3.) Thread the 2 Wires through the holes. 4.) Install the rubber band. 5.) Route the base wire from one side to the left and hot glue it down on that left side. 6.) Bend down the KEY wire on the Key, leaving 3mm of wire after bending. 7.) Strip the wire where it makes contact with a razor blade. 8.) Hot glue the KEY wire in the back. 9.) Connect it to your Radio with a 3.5mm jack and get ready to have fun.
