Mar 7 2018: Added an STL file to print two small wrenches for assisting adjustments to contacts. See accompanying photos. This is my interpretation of a Morse Code sideswiper key, also referred to as cootie keys. Unlike traditional telegraph keys that utilize an up-and-down motion, the sideswiper establishes contact on either side of a flexible arm, resulting in significantly reduced hand and wrist strain. This key employs a short segment of hacksaw blade as the lever arm; this approach is a long-standing tradition among ham radio enthusiasts for these types of keys. These devices were often self-made using inexpensive materials readily available at home. Inspiration for this design came from the concept found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1662382
