Morrow Mountain II Point
myminifactory
The projectile point was carefully digitized with a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner as part of a major Department of Defense Legacy Resource Management project. The scanning process was made possible through the generosity of the Fort Lee Regional Curation Facility. Acknowledgments for this reference go to Bernard K. Means, Mariana Zechini, Ashley McCuistion, Terrie Simmons-Erhardt, Jeff Aronowitz, Elizabeth Moore, Laura Galke, Lauren Volkers, Vivian Hite, Liz Ale, Zoë Rahsman, and Allen Huber. Their groundbreaking work, "Virtual Mobility Archaeology Project with Further Applications of Three Dimensional Digital Scanning of Archaeological Objects," was commissioned by the Department of Defense Legacy Resource Management Program. The project, designated as Legacy Project #13-334, was expertly executed by the Virtual Curation Laboratory at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. This object is now part of a comprehensive digital archive thanks to the Virtual Curation Lab's meticulous scanning efforts.
