3ds Max 2010 with V-Ray 2.40.03 is a software combination that exports fbx files without wool coverage. The Morris Upholstered Bench model measures 120x40x50 cm in dimension and its fur texture is created by geometry. Alternatively, you can achieve the same effect by deleting the geometry and applying a modifier instead. To render the fur effect, go to Rendering - Effects tab and click on Hair and Fur, selecting mr prim mode below. The system unit for this model is mm. If rendering in geometry mode, it's recommended to translate the model into a proxy first. Rendering in Effects mode yields a more realistic outcome.
