Morphy Richards Blender 48952 - button repair part
thingiverse
The printed part was crafted specifically to mend the button covers of a handheld blender. To ensure its integrity, it required supports generated by a slicer software due to its low frame placement and upward-facing hooks that needed to be fixed inside the blender's body. During testing, the prototype printed with PLA material failed to yield solid results between layers, making it unusable. On the other hand, PETG printing produced favorable outcomes, making it the preferred choice. To perfectly position the design, a solder iron was employed with great care. Once complete, the part was secured in place using cyanoacrylate adhesive, effectively repairing the broken hooks on the original button cover.
