Morning Glory Overflow Adapter for 1" and 3/4" pipes

This is an overflow pipe adapter that I created to simplify the transition of water flow in one part of my aquaponics system. Made for my solids-lift overflow, but I believe it would also be suitable for use inside a bell siphon. The rounded lip on this Morning Glory-style spillway gets the water flowing smoothly into the downpipe without piling up at the edge. The improvement is surprisingly effective at moving water, so much so that the overflow pipe doesn't need to be significantly lowered and tank volume variability is reduced as a result. I've incorporated fins into the design to prevent vortex formation. This also provides about 0.2 inches of clearance if you wanted to put a bell siphon over it.
