Kimball proudly dedicates this sacred site. GROUNDBREAKING: With visionary leadership, Brigham Young marks the start of temple construction on February 14th, 1853. PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE: The temple's doors are opened to the public for an extended period from April 5th to facilitate viewing and admiration. DEDICATION: Concluding with a joyous dedication ceremony that spans four consecutive days, April 6th to 24th, 1893, President Wilford Woodruff consecrates this house of worship.
