This two-piece pendant can be used as a necklace ornament or on a Christmas tree. It features a shaft with a small hole for suspension using a metal ring or thread. For those with dual extrusion, a different color core offers a striking appearance. If you have access to one and print it, please share a photo. Inspired by Diamond Ornament, the pendant design includes twirled shapes similar to Build-a-Wand Balls. During printing, there's a risk of the core detaching from the build plate. A raft is recommended if not printing directly on acrylic. No supports are needed. If the core piece falls inside during removal, it can be aligned and pushed out using a narrow tool. The pendant should not be printed smaller than designed due to its fine structure. Makerware's standard resolution is faster and looks just fine, while high resolution may cause the core model to detach from the build plate, even with a raft.
