More Hold Down Clamps
thingiverse
I built these holders so I can use 1/4"-20 nylon bolts from Lowes to secure them (similar to those used for a toilet seat on the commode) without compromising my cutter or taking any chances with loose material. Since I'm still on the learning curve and prone to rookie mistakes, any safety advice or expert tips are highly appreciated right now. I designed three sizes of clamps to minimize flexing that can occur when working across long spans and reduce the likelihood of the clamp snapping in two. My workbench mounting holes are spaced 4 inches apart, making these lengths ideal for my needs - specifically, 4.5, 3.315 and 2.25 inches (114.3, 84.2 and 57.15 mm) long.
